![]() ![]() It's important to make sure that you are able to open templates correctly and have all the info there without issue. I even have a couple of savvy clients who will build their own templates as a starting place for me. I often have to work within the guidelines of a template that some printer has provided. I work with a lot of clients who print my work (usually for editorial style projects, merchandise, or album design). However, I recommend upgrading to CC for one reason: compatibility. If you're just learning, or using it occasionally, CS6 is the way to go. It works great, it's stable, and not paying a monthly fee is awesome. If you're just doing design projects on your own it's amazing. I had been using it since it came out five+ years ago. I was on CS6 until a couple of months ago.
